The warmth and joy of the citizens and residents of the Belait District was evident when His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam graced the Get-Together Ceremony with citizens and residents of the District.

 

Accompanying His Majesty were His Majesty's sons and brother;

- His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office;

- His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik;

- His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen;

- And His Royal Highness Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah.

 

Loyalty to the Monarch and the country was portrayed with the involvement of various levels of society. Traditions and closeness that are constantly nurtured and cultivated every year reflect close unity.

 

The involvement of private companies in various industries, directly paves the way for continued commercial development. Such opportunities were a much-anticipated moment to express gratitude for having a wise king.

 

The ceremony also highlighted social harmony, an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity, and respectful practices among multi-racial communities.

 

His Majesty as well as the members of the royal family then proceeded for a Luncheon. Four individuals who have made significant contributions to the country were introduced to His Majesty. Doa Selamat was read by Awang Mohd Shah bin Taip, Belait District Syariah Subordinate Court Judge.

 

The Get-Together Ceremony with Citizens and Residents certainly created another meaningful memory for all the citizens and residents of Belait District.
